ActionAid Bangladesh (AAB) has been implementing “Making Market Work for Women (MMWW)” supported by Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands since November 2015. The overall objective of the project is “Strengthening Food Security in Bangladesh by Making Market Work for Women”. The project is working on improving systemic market behaviour towards women entrepreneurs and increasing capacity of women entrepreneurs for competing with the existing market environment. Besides, the project also works for improving knowledge, attitude and practice of women entrepreneurs on SRHR (Sexual and reproductive health and rights) and Nutrition which is impediment of creating market intelligence to enter into competitive market. The main purpose of the MTR is to assess program performance and progress against strategic plans (impact, short & long-term outcomes, and strategies) which would improve program quality and inform future strategic direction and phase out strategy for exit plan as well for the remainder of the program period and beyond.
