The first ever career fair at Sylhet Agricultural University took place on 18 August, 2016. Eight employers attended the fair to recruit the fresh graduates from the university. The inaugural ceremony was presided over by Professor Dr. Mitu Chowdhury, Dean, Faculty of Agricultural Economics and Business Studies. Mr. Aminul Islam, Country HR Business Partner, Syngenta Bangladesh Limited, Dhaka was the special guest and Professor Dr. M Golam Shahi Alam, Honorable Vice Chencellor, Sylhet Agriculture University was the Chief guest of the program.
Faculty of Agricultural Economics welcomed all the employers with crests. BRAC conducted a career grooming session for the students. The career fair was able to create a real buzz among the students and the fair seemed very encouraging for them.
