Client: ACDI/VOCA for USAID

Period: November 2018 to January 2019

The FtF Rice and Diversified Crops (RDC) activity funded by USAID and implemented by ACDI/VOCA, crafts transformational business relationships between firms, male and female farmers, and others in priority crop value chains. The assignment for CPL is to conduct research to generate business cases on ‘Engaging women in agricultural market systems’ in the context of FtF Zone in Bangladesh. In this study, CPL has used USAID guidelines for Business Case making and DCED guidelines for Women’s Economic Empowerment for assessing gender dimensions. The study was mostly a qualitative study.
