Evaluation of Comprehensive Poverty Reduction Program (CPRP) Phase III

Client: Christian Commission for Development in Bangladesh (CCDB)

Period: December 2017 - February 2018

CCDB launched its largest development intervention, namely the Comprehensive Poverty Reduction Program (CPRP) in 2007 with a view to addressing poverty in a comprehensive way. Major thematic areas of this program were strengthening people’s organization (PO), livelihood and food security, health & WATSAN, education & culture, societal peace, local level advocacy and gender justice. CPL conducted the end of project evaluation of CPRP phase III to gauge the impacted change at the household level in terms of livelihood, food security, nutrition, health and other project objectives. The evaluation was conducted applying a mixed-method approach following the OEDC/DAC framework. CPL utilized both the “comparison group” method and the “before-after comparison with opinion” method.
