Integrating of Population and Gender Issues in Development Policy Planning and Projects

This assignment was a part of the capacity-building support for SIED of Bangladesh Planning Commission in integrating population and gender issues in development policies and planning. The broad objective of this assignment was to draft and finalize the population and gender integration handbook/guideline and prepare a training module upon this. Specific objectives included reviewing and finalizing the handbook incorporating all the population and gender variables, recommending gender integration in existing policies and plans/programs, and developing a comprehensive training module for officials of the planning wing for various ministries and departments of the Government of Bangladesh.
