The World Bank undertook a comprehensive study of the freight transport and logistics sector in Bangladesh. The study aimed to map the entire logistics services landscape of Bangladesh based on robust evidence - policies and investments to reduce logistics costs and promote the development of an efficient, cost-effective and high-quality logistics sector. PricewaterhouseCoopers Pvt Ltd (PwCPL) executed the study on the World Bank’s behalf. PwC appointed Consiglieri Private Ltd (CPL) to conduct the 200 primary interviews with target industries to map the value chain of freight transport and logistics sector.
