As a highly motivated and goal-oriented executive within the development sector, Orchisman Dutta has a proven background in conducting extensive research in various areas. Orchisman holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree and Master’s of Science degree in Forestry and Environmental Science from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet, Bangladesh. As a student of forestry major, he has been granted awards form Oxfam Bangladesh and Explorers Club, USA for conducting extensive research. Previously, Orchisman served in various international institutions and organizations such as IUCN, CARINAM, CCA in various research projects. He has received several trainings on Monitoring and Results Management for Private Sector Development Initiatives, Data Management and Quality Control, Online Data and Survey Management using Online Data Kit (ODK), Manuscript and Journal Article Writing, and Research Techniques. Since 2018, Orchisman has been working with Consiglieri Private Limited and is currently contributing as Senior Research Associate (Sr. RA). Orchisman contributes in proposal and report development, planning and conducting research such as baseline study, feasibility study, value chain analysis and impact assessment. He is currently responsible for database management, data quality control and data analysis for several research projects using statistical software like R and SPSS. He also has profound knowledge on spatial data analysis using ArcGIS and various statistical analysis using R packages. Orchisman is a passionate dog lover and loves to participate in voluntary activities in his leisure time.
