Project Description
Assessment of SAJIDA Foundation’s Climate change program
The Climate Change and Disaster Management (CCDM) Program of SAJIDA Foundation was initiated to address the risk of climate change in the marginalized climate-vulnerable communities of Bangladesh. CCDM is taking a holistic integrated approach to build resilience in vulnerable regions- coastal, riverine islands (Char) and Haor areas in Bangladesh by increasing coping mechanisms and enhancing the adaptive capacity considering preparedness, response and rehabilitation of local communities and institutions. CPL was responsible for conducting a study within the targeted areas of the CCDM Program to prepare a progress report against the targeted outcomes. CPL developed the survey tool for data collection, performed the necessary analysis and generated the progress report.
