Consiglieri is conducting a survey of a total 1100 samples to understand the causes of female workers leaving the RMG sector very early in their productive lives. This will also investigate the aspirations of female workers in joining the RMG sector in the first place. Provided that, in Bangladesh, women are the primary caregivers in families and unpaid care is a high opportunity cost for the female who is joining work.
