ACI Agribusiness is implementing an Intelligent Decision Support System (IDSS) project to provide reliable and timely advice to rice growing farmers in Bangladesh partnered with SNV Bangladesh, SarVision, Nelen & Schuurmans, Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE). Fosholi app, the advisory platform for rice farmers was developed under G4AW project. CPL is measuring the end result of the project against project criteria and assessing the degree of achievement of Fosholi platform’s objectives, the efficiency of its strategies, and the outreach of the information provided. CPL used OECD guided DAC criteria for program evaluation and randomized controlled trials for studying different groups. MIxed method evaluation was used combining qualitative and quantitative methods and 800+ samples were surveyed using ODK platform in 12 districts.
