This was an Embassy of Kingdom of Netherlands (EKN) funded action research to identify the impacts of quality standards on the inclusiveness of the poor into the market system. The context of the assignment was set to be all EKN projects being implemented in Bangladesh. The outputs of the assignment were a document (reflecting the findings of the desk study, the theoretical conceptualizations, and field-level investigations) and a mini-seminar in Bangladesh with policy makers, practitioners, and Bangladesh-based scientists on the matter.
