Capacitate Summer Vegetable farmers

The Agricultural Value Chains (AVC) was a five-year project funded by USAID under its Feed the Future initiative to improve the food security scenario in Bangladesh by strengthening agricultural value chains. CPL was contracted to train 5,000 vegetable farmers in the summer season on better production technology and improved post-harvest technology in Bagerhat district. Methods like brainstorming, icebreaker and participatory approaches were used. Different topics were covered including suitable climate and soil condition, production technology, intercultural operation and pest management.
