CCDB was planning to work with the pineapple farmers of Madhupur and Fulbaria in Mymensingh to create better market access and profitability. Recognizing the importance of pineapple production and marketing for the farmers of Madhupur and Fulbaria, CCDB hired CPL to conduct a study to assess the pineapple market and find out ways to link the info to the value chain actors to ensure proper price and sustainable production. CPL conducted market analysis examining the value chain and profit margin. This qualitative study used grounded theory approach.
