Kareshma-E-Shams is a researcher and development professional with over two years of experience in mixed-methods research, evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and conducting participatory workshops and trainings. She currently works as a Research Associate at Consiglieri Private Limited (CPL), where she supports business development coordination, proposal development, mixed-method research and evaluation assignments across livelihoods, climate resilience, gender equity, and circular economy. Her work includes research design, stakeholder engagement, field coordination, qualitative data collection (FGDs, KIIs, IDIs), proposal development, and technical reporting. Her work also involves maintaining institutional knowledge systems, developing communication materials, and ensuring clarity and consistency in reporting across projects. Kareshma is also a Volunteer of Change alumna of UNICITI, where she supported urban sustainability research through background framework development and stakeholder interviews. Her academic work includes a Springer book chapter on Dhaka’s socio-spatial dynamics, and she has presented at international conferences including IEREK and IIHS.
