Consiglieri was contracted to train 5,000 vegetable farmers in the summer season on better production technology and improved post-harvest technology in the Bagerhat district. Methods like brainstorming, icebreaker and participatory approaches were used. Different topics were covered, including suitable climate and soil conditions, production technology, intercultural operation and pest management.
