Two rounds of the market study for the School Feeding Programme assisted by USDA McGovern-Dole Food for Education Program assesses the economic impacts of locally procured commodities (eggs, UHT milk, banana/fruits) and USDA items on local markets, supply chain capacity, price dynamics in Madhabpur Upazila, Habiganj. Using a mixed-methods approach aligned with WFP MFI and value chain frameworks, Consiglieri is conducting 300 traders survey (aggregators, wholesalers, retailers) per round across local retail, wholesale, and sourcing markets, along with qualitative data collection with 6 FGDs and 20 KIIs. Survey data is collected via MoDa digital surveys. The geographic focus is Madhabpur Upazila serving 149 schools and 30,000 children, with linkages to regional sourcing areas. It builds on the 2025 baseline for longitudinal comparison.
