Consiglieri was contracted to provide sufficient information for Shomoshti to design specific strategies for inclusive market development to ensure sustainable livelihoods and better access to improved technical and available social services for the project’s beneficiaries. This study was mostly qualitative in nature and Consiglieri followed DFID’s value chain analysis approach in value chain assessment and intervention design. Grounded theory approach was adopted for the data collection and analysis of this study using FGDs and IDIs from northeast, northwest and southwest regions of Bangladesh.
