Consiglieri Private Limited has been hired to develop indicators, a methodology, a dataset and estimates that quantify the potential and environmental of sanitation economy investments with a focus on private sector innovation towards safely managed sanitation and hygiene along the sanitation value chain from containment to emptying, transportation and reuse of faecal waste. Using available data sources including data from ‘the Sanitation & Hygiene Fund’-supported projects in Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria and Bangladesh, and modelling techniques, the team is responsible to propose indicators, an approach to measurement and generate estimates of the social, environmental, and financial returns of investments in climate-resilient sanitation and hygiene and nature-based sanitation and hygiene solutions.
