Project Description
Independent Review of the Results Delivered through The Business Finance for the Poor in Bangladesh (BFP-B) Programme
BFP-B is a €30 million 7.5-year (2013-2021) initiative to enhance financing access for SMEs, farmers, small entrepreneurs, and household sectors. Consiglieri assessed the program’s impact on changing market behaviors of the financial service providers in serving the lower end of the financial markets and the benefits accruing to low-income households and small businesses in accessing formal financial services. It was desk- based research. The review informed the Project Completion Review of FCDO and will inform any future programme in the financial sector development of FCDO.
