AVC organized seven stakeholders’ dialogues regarding the wide-scale application of chemicals to harvested mangoes for ripening and impacts on consumers. AVC hired Consiglieri to know the outcomes and impacts of the mango stakeholder’s dialogues conducted in 2015. Consiglieri conducted this study with the objectives of measuring the change in quantity of demolished mangoes in 2015 and 2016, new policies and initiatives that government machineries and law enforcement agencies adopted and deployed, consumer trust, quantity and quality of supplied mango, mango orchard management practice, and also change in post-harvest management practices in project zone of influence and Dhaka. This was primarily a qualitative research .The data was collected through 12 FGDs and 150 IDIs from Dhaka, Jessore, Satkhira, Meherpur, Jhenaidah, Barisal and Chuadanga.
